Ok, before I say anything else I need to get mushy on you all.

I could not believe how many people chimed in in so many ways to help us. It's really unbelievable.

I have a really hard time asking for help.. but you've all sent so much good will our way we're extremely grateful. I don't know any other way to put it.
Between the raffle and donations, we've added up almost half of Nibby's vet bills. That in itself is amazing.
I honestly hope my kitty can recover quickly so I can thank you all properly.

Each and every one of you who has sent us something - be it messages, hugs, spreading the word.. really really thank you with all my heart. It's no doubt because of you all that I still have my buddy right now. I just really hope we can help him through this safely.
I will try my best not to flood my journal with too much non-art stuff so I'll probably keep this journal around for update purposes.. but thank you so much for standing by me in this time of great need!

My cat Nibby, yes, my monster who was having problems in 2007 and finally got well and healthy..
His health plummeted due to the recent cat food recall. If you have cats, do not feed them Nutro!
I wish I would have known sooner otherwise I never would have bought this

Within 2 weeks time his health has deteriorated to the point he is horribly-deathly ill once again.
He's extremely dehydrated, throws up and cries out when he does.. he's nauseated and doesn't want to eat/drink. This means a lot because he's usually a pig. He won't move at all during the day and just wants to hide. It's the most heartbreaking pitiful thing I've seen.

Even when he was sick last time, he didn't scream out when he was feeling like he wanted to throw up.

My husband just started a new job but won't be getting his first paycheck for a few weeks.

Short version: He has a type of liver disease known as Hepatic Lipidosis (AKA Fatty liver.) It's treatable but is going to take about $1900-2k in procedures. Yay .
We're already almost halfway there before we can pay for everything to get done!
